Our story
My Favorite Things started with a simple idea: get a room full of women together at Christmas and share the good stuff.
Danielle Cook loves Christmas, she loves giving gifts, and she loves telling her friends about something she found that actually works. A book worth staying up late for. A product that earned a permanent spot on the bathroom counter. A podcast worth the drive. My Favorite Things is her way of doing all of that at once, for a room full of women.
Each November she sets a festive table, fills a room with gift bags, and spends an evening sharing the things that have made her life a little better that year. She talks about books and beauty, and she talks about real life too: marriage, raising kids, pregnancy, menopause and perimenopause, and the seasons every woman goes through. She does it with a lot of humor and no pretending.
She hosted the first one in 2016, and it has become a tradition. 2026 marks the eleventh year. Women bring their mothers and daughters, their coworkers, and the friends they don't see often enough.

Danielle Cook
founder and host
Danielle is a wife, a mother of four, and a grandmother. She has spent years leading women and serving alongside her husband in ministry, and she has a gift for hosting.
She's interested in family, beauty, wellness, hospitality, and the relationships that carry women through every stage of life. Most of all, she wants every woman who walks in to feel welcome and to leave encouraged.

Sadie Delano
co-presenter
Sadie is Danielle's daughter and a NASM-certified sports medicine trainer. She and her husband, Trevor, own SOZO Fit, a private gym with personal training, nutrition coaching, and group classes. She loves helping people reach their goals, and much of her week is spent doing exactly that, often alongside other women.
Ask anyone close to her and they'll tell you Sadie is fiercely loyal. She loves her people, and her favorite time is with family and friends. On stage she talks about what she's learning: fitness and health, marriage, running a business, and the products she actually uses.
Watching Danielle and Sadie trade favorites is part of the fun, because they don't always agree.
Find Sadie and Trevor at SOZO Fit and on Instagram at @thesozofit.
From one night to a whole weekend
The Holiday Market now follows Ladies' Night Out each year. It gives local business owners, many of them women building something of their own, a place to sell, and it gives everyone else a reason to come back Saturday.
The faith that shapes Danielle's life is part of the story, and you'll feel it in how the evening is run. But My Favorite Things is for every woman. You don't need a church background to come, laugh, and go home with a full gift bag.
